Enri Mato, from architecture to brand manifesto

The year is 1987 and NASA launches the last of America's deep space probes. In a freak mishap, Ranger 3 and its pilot Captain William 'Buck' Rogers are blown out of their trajectory into an orbit which freezes his life support system and returns Buck Rogers to Earth five hundred years later.

Enri Mato (b. 1986), architect, urban planner, editor & brand manifesto director; studied architecture at ENSA-PB in Paris (2007-2010); studied landscape design at JMA in Lausanne (2010-11); graduated with a research project called Approach, Tourism and Memory in Old Tragjas in Albania(2013). In 2012, he founded Visuagon a laboratory of visualization of polygons in architecture, a project that lasted about 2 years.

Enri Mato has been teaching at Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism (2014-2015). His works have been published and exhibited repeatedly, and are present in several exhibitions and magazines as Vogue Italia, Le Courrier de l’Architecte, Kult Magazine.

The entry has established an architectural center in Tirana called DCF Asgard, which has created in 2013, the first photography festival in Albania, TIPhF (Tirana International Photo Fest) between Tirana and Paris, he was one of the founders of the European Network of Photography. 

After 3 editions of TIPhF, in 2016 Enri create the concept of a Utopian Magazine  in Paris, a project done with the spirit and the vision for beauty and freedom, it will educate the entire world to appreciate the classy taste through provocation and the truth. In a world that does not know its guidelines, and how to blend the cultures to create new visions…


Enri Mato is an urban architect and photographer born in 1986 into a family of artists. His father was a sculptor and his mother was a restorer, who worked at the Louvre Museum in Paris. He grew up in Tirana, where he discovered his interest in photography and art at an early age.
